Here comes again this Immigration department misadventure...it was only last week the department suddenly caught everyone by surprise verbally insisting the employers (including the outsourced employers) of Bangladeshi workers to provide foreign workers banker's guarantee instead of the usual insurance guarantee. The unofficial and without wriiten directive by the Head of department clearly showed bad leadership, spiked with bad taste....and lack of governance and transparency.
Only yesterday when there was huge ow..and cries including some demonstration the department decided to give way and reinstated the insurance guarantee.
